Hotel Casa Alvarada - Comala

I had a wonderful stay at this venue for one night and would highly recommend it as it fully met my needs.

Wonderful little and excellent place, I truly enjoyed useful personnel.

I booked incredibly comfortable and beautiful room with a ceiling fan and air con, as for instance. The location of the hotel was good - within easy walking distance of Laguna de Carrizalillos.

Room was tidy and had a ceiling fan and air conditioning. the fact that they provided a shower, hairdryer, and bath sheets was a nice touch! 🌟

Enjoyed the cozy and comfortable king bed with A/C and fan. The large walk-in shower was really good too. The location was perfect as it was easy to walk to the charming town center with great eateries. The two hikes we experienced with the owner were amazing - his knowledge of the local flora and fauna was mind-blowing.

There was no supply of drinking water in the rooms which we found disappointing. We had to go out of the hotel to get water which was quite frustrating.

our recent stay at a b&b in comala was delightful. the owner, jupiter, was friendly and shared valuable local knowledge. comala itself was a charming town, and the proximity to colima made it a convenient location. the room was spacious and well-equipped, with a mini refrigerator and ac to beat the heat.

Breakfast options were limited.

I had a lovely stay at Casa Alvarada! The room was beautifully decorated and the courtyard was fine. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in possibly the prettiest town in Mexico. The owner's perfect English was a bonus for those with limited Spanish skills. I highly recommend this hotel for a good getaway.

Located in a picturesque town, the hotel's location is perfect as it is close to the small town square and in a safe area. the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and a stylish bathroom. the service by the owners was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast served was simple yet tasty. We also enjoyed spending time in the lovely outdoor common area.

The room lacked a trash bin in the shared space, which was a bit inconvenient.

Great location, air conditioning, fluent English speaking owners, knowledgeable naturalist, cozy room.

A Memorable Easter Stay We had a fantastic Easter stay - a perfect balance of sightseeing, relaxation, and fun. the icing on the cake was the complimentary chocolate and hot cross buns that we received on arrival. the rooms were not only spotlessly clean but also comfortable and stylish, with unique local decor and interesting artwork. We also appreciated the fantastic location - the perfect base to explore the town and its surroundings.

Some Room for Improvement there were a few areas that could be improved. the shower had low water pressure which meant it was difficult to get a good flow.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk away from the lively town square. The staff were friendly and accommodating. the room was spacious and came equipped with a mini fridge and air conditioning, making it easy to beat the heat in this hot city.
